Festival details
Core Element is a music, fantasy and immersive festival, set in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside. With two stages situated within the forest, come experience this truly unique location where our lights will scatter through the treeline creating a mesmerising visual experience.
We invite you to be the first to experience Core Element in August 2025,
You’ll be kicking back on the lush field, right next to the forest. Whether it be your own tent, a camper van or one of our luxury bell tents, you’ll finally have the opportunity to camp amongst friends.
A different experience to the conventions you are used to, but with the familiar faces of our fellow creatures.

Leave behind the daily ritual for a whole new one, a ritual that calls upon our deep-rooted instinctive drive to gather as one, to celebrate unity and our carnal roots. Something within the forest calls to you, something more ancient than time itself. Rave, eat, enjoy our activities... and unravel the story if you discover where to look.
The road ahead
and a personal note from the director
Core Element is owned by BeautyoftheBass events, which is of course owned by me, Bass! You can call me Amy too. You probably know me as a creature costume maker, DJ or just the speaker creature! Outside the fandom however, I have been involved in multiple events throughout the years, spanning from festivals, nightclubs, charity events and more. It’s my goal and dream to introduce a new event to the UK fandom space, which is affordable, immersive and unique. I’m building a team of experienced community individuals to help organise and run this festival, along with hiring professional services to make this festival possible. Come with me as I explain what I hope to have in store…
Going forwards, it is my goal to compensate everyone who helps run Core Element, however small the contribution. Whether that be with a discount, free admission, or with money. This includes acts, artists, DJs, stewards, security, welfare and organisers. As soon as it can, Core Element will start paying it back. As the event grows, I need to ensure reliability, professionalism and accountability in staff, therefore I believe in creating paying rolls for both the event and the staff.
With that in mind, there are several unique challenges and benefits to being outdoors. As we grow, we hope to overcome most of those challenges for future events. These are a few of our biggest priorities:
-
Outdoor lockers.
-
Showers. (These cost way more than you expect)!
-
More tents for hire.
-
More installations, more acts and shows.
-
Larger venues with more space.
-
Larger structures to protect against potential rain.
-
More walkway panels for main areas.
-
Larger stock of onsite essentials for those who forget items.
-
More entertainment possibilites.
As you traverse the festival, bare in mind you'll be contributing to something even bigger. Exposure of the Element to the public has been long anticipated by our scientists. For the curious, we'll have researchers, subjects and people of interest to answer your questions and point you in the right direction for more...

So yes, our goal is to expand. We're not here to tread on any toes, but to give everyone another option, another adventure! We hope to be the event people can afford to do alongside others.

As the festival grows, so will our team, the budget, the venue and the entertainment. The beauty of being outdoors is that we aren’t limited. However, this doesn’t mean we are going to outgrow our capability. We are starting off small and will expand at a controlled, manageable and reasonable rate. That does mean that tickets will become easier to attain as capacity can eventually overtake demand.

I'm devoted to making this an incredible event, and I need to be able to financially support the people who also work on Core Element. There is no doubt that the first couple of festivals, at least, will not turn a profit. However, Core Element has already paid community members for artwork and services. Core Element will not solely rely on volunteer contributions, but instead pay those who help make the festival possible.

This is for all those who have always wanted to, but never managed to do that friend’s camping trip. For all those who haven’t managed to get to a festival, and for those who crave something different. I want to give back to the community, to ensure people can come and enjoy themselves whilst feeling welcome. Core Element will achieve that by doing many things, one of which is the price of attendance. Core Element will always have a low price of attendance. Running a festival is a very expensive endeavour, but there are many factors which allow the price to stay lower then hotel stay events.

Being an outdoor event means we have to externally source energy, toilets, lighting, shelter, food, drink, structures, lots of transport logistics, self storage, and so much more. There is a lot involved behind the scenes to get this off the ground, it's taken 3 years of research and planning. I am dedicated to making this work in the long run.

We want to give you new experiences, different event options, unique opportunities to contribute and get involved. Do you have an idea? Whether it be an event, decoration, act or whatever else, please contact us and let us know what you want to showcase! DJs and producers now have a chance to perform outdoors in a festival environment. All that exciting stuff is grand… but Core Element is also about relaxing and being within nature with your friends.
